Who am I?

My photo
Hi, I'm Cameron (aka Iffy), a stay at home mother to 4 beautiful children. My family is my life! I am not crafty by nature....but I am learning =D I will share my experiences with you(good & bad) with crafts, DIY, cooking, and life. I say what's on my mind, and remain honest, it's just who I am. Love it or leave it =D So follow me and see my progress as I document my journey, and If All Else Fails....at least you have gained a friend and gotten some great tips or maybe learned something new along the way!

Sweet Tooth Satisfaction # 3 ~ Puddin' Pops & My Favorite Things Friday # 6

OK so who misses those pudding pops?
Ya know the ones Bill Cosby did commercials for so very long ago,
well how would you like to make some of your very own?
This was fun. I came across the recipe from A Few Shortcuts
Here's what you need

Small box of instant Jello (we used cheesecake flavor)
Popsicle molds (got this in the $1 section at Target
Cold milk
Food coloring

First put your powdered jello into a bowl, & add 2 cups of cold milk
And here's where you have your helpers STIR
Put it in the fridge for 10 min so it sets up a little

And divide into bowls then add your food coloring (drops are per your own preference as to how many)
Then spoon the layers into the molds (you could use paper cups & popsicle sticks too)
It can get messy but put the sticks in & freezer for 5 or more hours to set
I let them freeze overnight for an afternoon treat the next day
Tip: Let them thaw 10 min to easily remove your pops or this will happen.
So remove them carefully from the molds(I ran them under some warm water to help them come out...on the sticks)
 =D
Enjoy!

  1. Hi, Iffy -

Thanks so much for the feature! I hope you and your family will love the copycat McGriddles.

I love how colorful your pudding pops are. Mine were always kinda plain colored - lol! I didn't do any fancy coloring. Looks like your kids had fun making them (as well as eating them). :)

    Cheers,
    Tracy Screaming Sardine
